This project investigates whether treated domestic waste water can be used to irrigate field vegetables. The focus is on monitoring all kinds of patogens on 3 different types of crops (cauliflower, spinach and celery). In addition, a calculation tool is being developed that should allow an approximate design of an irrigation network to transport the purified water to the various fields.
