Project description
Functional MRI is a promising imaging technique for renal disease with the potential to clarify pathophysiological processes, yet to be tested on dogs. This study will develop a scanning protocol for functional MRI to visualize renal perfusion and tissue oxygenation in dogs. Furthermore, fMRI will be compared to CEUS and scintigraphy, two commonly used methods to assess renal function.
