The main objective of the project is to strengthen the integrated control of Phytophtora cryptogea in the hydroponic cultivation of lettuce and chicory. In doing so, the track focuses on monitoring, prevention and control. The prevention and control strategies put into practice within this trajectory are selected for their sustainability, effectiveness and applicability in hydroponics. This will not only allow growers to cope with the elimination of chemical crop protection agents, but will also reduce residues in the final product and reduce the risk of resistance build-up, thus achieving a sustainable and resilient hydro system.
