Project description

Recent advances in mass spectrometry have enabled near-comprehensive proteomic profiling from just tens of mammalian cells and even approach single-cell resolution. Achieving this sensitivity requires highly efficient, loss-minimized sample processing due to the picogram-scale protein content per cell. While devices like cellenONE® support low-input workflows, they often rely on manual liquid dispensing steps and are incompatible with large cells such as oocytes. We propose an automated, low-volume liquid dispensing system tailored for low-input to single-cell proteomics. This system aims to enhance throughput, reduce variability and improve data quality across diverse cell types and sample preparation workflows.
