Project description
We found a direct link between a key regulator of oxidative metabolism, ERR, and a nuclear receptor that mediates not only metabolic but also anti-inflammatory actions (PPAR). The main objectives are to understand the function and mechanism of this interaction, to identify modulators hereof and to investigate the interaction profile in a relevant animal disease model or human heart tissue.
