Project description

Rice blast and bacterial leaf blight are two important diseases in almost all rice-growing countries. In this research, beneficial bacteria from rice plants in Bangladesh will be isolated and characterized. Their potential for biocontrol and biostimulation will be assessed, with the ultimate goal to find bacteria that can control both diseases and increase rice yield.
