Project description

Tha plant hormone auxin is a fundamentally important regulator of plant growwth and development. Its distribution patterns within organs largely depends on active cell-tot-cell transport, mediated by PIN auxin transporters. The PINs have polar subcellular localisations within the cell. Here, we will investigate the importance of reactive oxygen species and nitric oxide as signaling molecules in auxin-regulated PIN trafficking.
