Vitro Embryo Production Survival Pathway cattle growth factors

Project description

Pregnancy rates, after transfer of in vitro produced cattle embryos, remain quite low. In several biological systems, growth factors play a crucial role in the activation of a universal survival pathway.

Growth factors are not routinely added to the medium used for embryo culture. In this project, we investigate the importance of growth factors and their pathway in the preimplantation embryo.
