Project description

The choroid plexus (CP) plays an important role in the central nervous system. Several morphological changes occur in the CP during aging, accompanied by an increase in interferon (IFN) dependent gene expression. Here, I want to gain more insight into the role of IFNs in aging, what causes IFN induction and evaluate the effects of IFN inhibition.
