Project description

Genetic alterations in the ALK receptor tyrosine kinase gene are related to the development and the acquisition of therapy resistance of various cancers, among which neuroblastoma, a common pediatric malignancy. This project aims to characterize the function of the oncogenic transcription factor ETV5 in ALK driven tumor formation and to establish new frontiers for the development of ALK downstream oriented targeted therapies.
