Project description

Systemic chemotherapy with classical cytotoxic drugs in hepatocellular carcinoma yields low objective response rates due to chemoresistance. It is well known that as wel hypoxia as ER stress could be the cause of chemoresitance. The efficay and safety of anti-PlGF and farnesylthiosalicylic acidmay consitute a novel approach for cancer treatment. This will be evaluated in a HCC mouse model.
