The primary study objective is to compare delayed soft tissue grafting (DSG) to immediate soft tissue grafting (ISG) in terms of buccal bone resorption using the following PICO elements:
P - Patients undergoing single IIP in the anterior maxilla (tooth 15-25)
I - Delayed soft tissue grafting (DSG) at 3 months
C - Immediate soft tissue grafting (ISG)
O - Buccal bone resorption
Focused Research Question: βIn patients undergoing single IIP in the anterior maxilla, will delayed soft tissue grafting performed at 3 months as compared to immediate soft tissue grafting result in different buccal bone resorption at 1- and 5-year follow-up?β
Secondary study outcomes relate to the same comparison, yet focus on soft tissue changes, aesthetic and clinical parameters.
