Project description
State-of-the-art mix designs for alkali-activated concrete are taken to study mix design for textile
reinforced mortar. Key parameters are local by-products, compatibility of materials and shrinkage control. At micro-scale the focus is on the mortar and mortar-textile composite; at meso-scale on bond to concrete and tension stiffening; and at macro-scale on strengthening effect when applied to deficit concrete members |
