FLEX-Cat is a unique, continuous, multi-purpose set-up with on-line analysis tools for intrinsic catalytic kinetics data acquisition, more specifically at well-controlled, (near)-atmospheric pressures. Modularity and flexibility will be one of the design/construction imperatives such that the set-up can serve R&D within a wide variety of catalytic reactions/processes In this way FLEX-Cat will provide the promoters of this application extra opportunities to initiate collaborations with industrial partners and to generate and valorize IP (novel catalysts and models/software) within the domain of catalysis.
