    Increased cooperation and exchange of research expertise Firstly alliance research group aims to further expand the existing cooperation by bringing together researchers from both institutions on the one hand and by the – where possible and appropriate – entering into co -promotorschappen and / or seals of guidance committees (doctoral) research on the other. ; Increasing the (international) publication output, the databases available to the members of the alliance research available today to study the only databases that allow trends Flemish youth over nearly 10 years (2005-2013). These data were not only used for policy research also found their way to a considerable number of publications in scientific peer-reviewed journals. The collected data are a commodity that can be written new scientific publications. A second objective of the alliance research therefore is to further valorise the already collected data through an intense collaboration between VUB and Ghent University researchers around common research themes &rsquo ;. Joint national and international project applications Third alliance research group wants from the existing data on the one hand, and in connection with the common line of research on the other hand develop new joint research projects. Better international profile A final objective of the research alliance is to strengthen the international profile. Firstly, it should provide the possibility to appoint senior researchers. Given the continuous ISOLATED capacity of the existing cooperation within the framework of the JOP remains vulnerable, is particularly finance senior researchers challenge. However, these researchers are important in view of the continuous ISOLATED capacity and transmission of accumulated expertise. We want through the development of a stronger international network alliance research group as a whole to make a more recognizable platform in the international research community.
