Saltwater intrusion is a major coastal issue globally. It raises salinity over drinking and irrigation water standards and threatens coastal aquifer exploitation and land salinization. In this research we evaluate the current salinity and freshening situation in the south-central region of Vietnam and models those processes under several scenarios of climate change and anthropic effects.
