Project description

This research investigates the study of the Confucianist "Classical Work of Filial Piety" during the Late Ming Dynasty from the perspective of the then dominant philosophical trend of 'the religions united' (Buddhism, Confucianism, and Daoism). More precisely, it is investigated how Buddhist concepts were secularized through Confucianism.
