Project description

To date there has thus been little, if any analytical cross-fertilisation between world city and commodity chain research. Hence, the main thrust of this project is to investigate, theorize and map the complex relationships that exist between (i) the globalization of commodity chains and (ii) the ways in which producer service firms are reshaping the functional inter-realtionships between cities (in Europe and beyond).
