Project description
The STRIVE software package describes the interaction between hydraulics and ecological processes. The objective of this doctoral study is to conduct research after the numerical modelling of estuarine processes (hydraulics, nutrient dynamics, vegetation, sediment, detritus, salt intrusion), and to implement these new process modules. The ecological problems of the Berg River estuary in South Africa will be investigated.
