Through the BACLiPs scientific research network (SRN), the leading Flemish research groups in bacterial 
lipopeptides will expand and strengthen their research activities and capabilities. The highly multidisciplinary 
network unites national and international partners into a collaborative entity, integrating complementary 
knowledge, expertise, and technology to directly address the research challenges faced by the Flemish 
partners. In turn, the unique expertise and capabilities of the Flemish partners becomes more accessible to 
the associated external groups, enhancing their current research efforts and opening new opportunities for 
international collaboration and network building.
