Project description

F4+ ETEC are an important cause of neonatal and postweaning diarrhea inpigs. This project aims to identify the cellular source ofETEc-induced IL-17 upon early infection and to elucidate the role o IL-17 secreting cel is in the induction of protective immunity to F4+ETEC in order to devolop novel strategies preventing early infection or enhacing the efficacy of ETEC-directed vaccines.
