Project description

Within the Exoligamentz project, a supporting glove is being developed to minimize finger and hand injuries due to contact sports. The aim of this project is to build on an earlier StarTT project: select the most suitable materials and production methods for industrialization, further develop prototypes and test in low volumes, validate prototypes with end users in different sports, prepare a business model and go-to-market strategy. Furthermore, this project aims to have a social impact, by better protecting young athletes in particular against repetitive finger injuries and thus preventing the prevention of irreversible damage and dysfunction of the hand at a later age.
