Project description
The increasing trend for structural bonding of building components relies on state-of-the-art construction adhesives, sometimes combined with anchors to boost the bond performance. These anchors are invasive and visually impairing, making their use challenging especially for relatively brittle materials such as glass, concrete, FRP and wood. The T-anchor project will further document the demonstrated performance and technical proof-of-concept of a novel T-anchor system for concealed bonding of building components applying materials of brittle nature; as well as fostering its patent prosecution.
