Project description
This research project focuses on the investigation of 1) the efficiency increase of variable-speed distributed generators by optimizing the generator-rectifier interaction and 2) the power quality increase and converter robustness by optimizing the rectifier-inverter and inverter-grid interaction. These goals will be achieved by using current waveform optimization in the generator, a higher MPPt reaction speed and an improved rectifier topology.
