Project description

While empirical evidence on M&A is abundant, surprisingly little is known about 'distress-related' M&A in comparison to knowledge about healthy firms. This research takes an initial step towards closing the gap by investigating the impact of distressed M&A on acquirer risk as well as M&A as a resolution for distress.
