Project description
This project studies conflict in the North-Caucasus by analysing evolving group identities. The comparative analysis of several case-studies should give an insight into the multiple ways in which social identities and conflict are interrelated. Questions: In what way does conflict reshape social identification? And What is the impact of shifting group identities on local society and conflict dyanmics?
