Project description
This project elucidates the presence and expression of genes supporting the pathogenicity and survival capacity of the human related Arcobacter species on food and anthropogenic environments. Using genome analysis, genes are tested in in vitro gene expression studies under several conditions. Viruloprofiling will assess the relation between in vitro expression and the translation towards virulence capacity in cell cultures.
