This two week training course is a joint initiative of the International Centre for Reproductive Health (ICRH) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). It is part of the international efforst to promote the coordination of a multisectoral response to gender-based violence (GBV) in humanitarian settings. It combines more theoretical lectures with practical exercises. The participants are also provided with tools to organize more specific, short trainings in the field. The training course targets people - from UN agencies, NGOs, governments and universities - who are already working in the field of GBV prevention in humanitarian settings.
