Project description

Hypervigilance for somatic sensations is often suggested as a crucial factor in pain perception. Despite its potential utility, the construct of hypervigilance has been plagued by unclear conceptualization and wrong operationalization. The aim of this project is to advance research to hypervigilance for bodily sensations, by the development of new research paradigms, in collaboration with Prof. Spence (Oxford University, UK).
