Project description

Pathways for thermo- and bioconversion processes are proposed for converting poultry litter into useful energy and fertilizer, trough hydrothermal carbonization and anaerobic digestion. The treatment of poultry litter would have a positive impact on the environmental, economy and social sphere in Cuba through income generation and savings resulting from reductions in imports (fossil fuels, agrochemicals) and development in rural communities.
