Ethiopia has been severely affected by water shortage. Most interventions that aim to improve the water supply does not consider peoples preferences and willingness to pay. This study aims at users’ willingness to pay to improve water supply using various valuation methods in eastern Ethiopia. These findings will provide scientific evidence that have significant importance for policy interventions.
