The partnership of the VasculAI project focuses on the growing challenge of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the cross-border region. CVD pose a significant threat to public health, necessitating early and effective intervention.
General Objective:
Faced with the cross-border challenge of cardiovascular disease, the VasculAI project aims to develop an innovative electronic bracelet and harness artificial intelligence to analyse the physiological data collected, complemented by the use of a thermal imaging camera. Aiming to characterise vascular health using various parameters such as brachial and central blood pressure, blood flow and endothelial function, the initiative aims to transform the detection and management of these diseases. The cross-border approach, mobilising the diversified skills of the partners, promotes robust clinical validation and wider adoption of the solution, aiming at remarkable advances in proactive cardiovascular health monitoring compared to current methods.
Key Achievements:
- Development and continuous improvement of the connected bracelet and optimised use of the thermal imaging camera.
- Creation and refinement of an AI predictive model for the diagnosis of CVD.
- Robust clinical validation of developed tools and models.
