Project description

In this research proposal, new artemisinin-based medicines will be developed which are currently used in the therapy of malaria. Current medicines however have a low stability and low bio-availability. Therefore, new formulations need to be developed with good pharmacokinetic properties. In this way, the efficacy of the treatment will be improved, having positive effects on both humans and environment.
