Project description

The possibility of applying Shape Memory Alloys (SMAs) - NiTinol in textiles will be investigated. Hybrid yarns with SMAs as component will be produced and then processed into a woven structure. The structure and properties of the hybrid structures will be investigated and the optimum processing conditions will be assessed.
