Covalent Organic Frameworks are a new type of materials with high porosity. They are also photoactive semiconductors that can be used as photocatalysts. My research group (COMOC - Center for Ordered Materials, Organometallics and Catalysis) conducts research to apply these materials in photocatalytic processes, aiming to improve air and water quality and make chemical processes more sustainable.
