Project description
Ultrasound and microbubbles are used to deliver chemotherapeutic agents and other molecules to specific areas in the body. Fluorescent nanopartikels were developed and evaluated to trace the local delivery of molecules in vivo with in vivo optical imaging. The final goal is to treat tumours with this technique in a mouse-model. The microbubbles are also used for in vivo gene-transfection.
