In an assessment center, applicants who participate in various simulation exercises are rated on job-related competencies by trained assessors. The lack of construct validity has emerged as an important problem in assessment centers. This study aims to investigate whether the construct validity of assessment centers can be enhanced by using standardized prompts of role-players.
