Project description
We assesses the validity of DNA-barcoding for the identification of problematic invertebrate taxa, and apply multimarker-based barcoding to (1) unravel cyrptic diversity, and (2) document population genetic structure within species complexes of parine Nematoda and Mysida. In addition, the functional implications of cryptic diversity are studied in microcosm experiments.
