Project description
Within this research, the solid organic fraction or municipal solid waste forms the basis for the sustainable production of caproic acid, a resource with a large number of applications. The goal of this research is threefold, i.e., 1) the optimisaton of the production process, 2) the optimization of microbial monitoring, and 3) the optimisation of product recovery.
