Project description
Peyer's patches (PP) are organized lymphoid tissues found in the small intestine that act as inductive sites for adaptive immune responses. The aim of this project is to characterize the follicle associated epithelium (FAE) that covers the Peyer's patches and to identify specific markers for human M-cells.
