Project description
The aim of this research is to study the physiological importance of some newly discovered stress-inducible ribosome-inactivating proteins in rice. This research will contribute to a better understanding of the mode of action of these proteins and their importance for the plant. These data can be used for crop protection purposes and can help to generate plants that are more stress tolerant.
