Diabetes is prevalent among patients of Turkish descent. Many patients experience difficulties with the daily intake of their diabetes medication (called “adherence”). This project will organize information sessions about diabetes. During these sessions we will recruit participants for a questionnaire study about barriers and facilitators for adherence among Turkish migrants with diabetes. Based on the results of this survey, recommendations for improved care for these patients will be formulated.
