Project description

Microbial communities are responsible for the normal functioning of humans, plants and animals. Our research focuses on mapping diverse microbial communities, with a focus on insect, soil and food-associated communities. In doing so, we map the components that make up these communities, bring their members into cultivation, and study their functioning and biotechnological potential through genome sequencing and physiological experiments.
