Project description
Seen the extensive use of anthelmintics in the Horn of Africa, their excretion into the environment is also very high, causing harmful and persistent effects on plants, animals and humans. Conventional sewage systems are not effective at removing these drugs. Therefore, in this project, we will explore alternative and sustainable methods to eliminate selected anthelmintics from the aquatic ecosystem.
