Project description

This project has a goal to elucidate on of the most important nodes in industrial biotechnology, the PEP-pyruvate-oxalacetate node. By means of 13C-labellingsexperiments and transcriptome data, the intracellular fluxes will be uncovered. For this purpose, novel sampling and analytical protocols will be set up, after which experimental data can be collected as a basis for mathematical models.
