Project description
Crystallization is one of the techniques used in several fields, e.g. the pharmaceutical industry. However, the initial step of the crystallization – the nucleation – is essentially unexplored, while it has a major impact on the outcome. Dynamic SAXS experiments offer precise nanoscale information about size, structure, and morphology of small monomers/aggregates or clusters in the initial stages of the crystal growth.
