In this project, an identification of potentially endogenous produced glucocorticoids in cattle is foreseen. To this end, a long-term stability study, in vitro rumen and colon digestions and the in vivo metabolism of these glucocorticoids will be evaluated. This information leads to the characterisation of a possible biomarker.
