Project description
The project results will significantly enhance the quality of life in Russia and Europe. Additive manufacturing technologies to be used in the project enable fabrication of tailored-made personalized permanent and biodegradable implants with hierarchical surface and bulk porosities. The biocompatibility of the hybrid scaffolds will be increased using surface functionalization (e.g. CaP and CaCO3 coatings with Si, Sr, proteins, enzymes).
