The focus of this PhD project is on the interplay between exercise and skeletal muscle. There are three main sub-projects: 1. Role of histamine signaling for exercise adaptations 2. Transcriptome-based heterogeneity of muscle fibers 3. Profiling of histidine-containing dipeptides across species and organs
