Project description
MEDICUBA aims to strengthen the health sector in Cuba benefit through collaboration with Flemish universities on biomedical engineering, materials research and advanced design and manufacturing. Innovative, sustainable design and local manufacturing of medical devices for people with motor disabilities (e.g. orthoses, exoskeletons) will contribute to the Cuban public health system and industry development while aligning with SDGs in health, well-being, industry, innovation, and infrastructure.
